pengertian vlan
Virtual LAN atau disingkat VLAN merupakan sekelompok perangkat pada satu LAN atau lebih yang dikonfigurasikan (menggunakan perangkat lunak pengelolaan) sehingga dapat berkomunikasi seperti halnya bila perangkat tersebut terhubung ke jalur yang sama, padahal sebenarnya perangkat tersebut berada pada sejumlah segmen LAN yang berbeda. Vlan dibuat dengan menggunakan jaringan pihak ke tiga. VLAN merupakan sebuah bagian kecil jaringan IP yang terpisah secara logik. VLAN memungkinkan beberapa jaringan IP dan jaringan-jaringan kecil (subnet) berada dalam jaringan switched switched yang sama. Agar computer bisa berkomunikasi pada VLAN yang sama, setiap computer harus memiliki sebuah alamat IP dan Subnet Mask yang sesuai dengan VLAN tersebut. Switch harus dikonfigurasi dengan VLAN dan setiap port dalam VLAN harus didaftarkan ke VLAN. Sebuah port switch yang telah dikonfigurasi dengan sebuah VLAN tunggal disebut sebagai access port.

yang diatas adalah hasil copas CLI switch padi packtet tracer saya. disitu  cara saya konfigurasi vlan, mungkin ada kesalahan karena salah ketik, dll. 
tahap kedua
kita memahami tentang vlan seperti aturannya misalnnya jangkauannya harus 1-4094, 1-1001 digunakan untuk jarak normal vlan, dll. berikut adalah 3 tahap bagaimana cara menghapus vlan. sebelum kita membuat vlan kita tidak boleh menggunakan vlan 1, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005. karena vlan tersebut tidak bisa di rename dan tidak bisa dihapus

hasilnya saya dapat menyelesaikan kuis tersebut dengan berhasil 100 % semuanya bisa terhubung, meskipun pertama ping failed tapi hal itu tidak memungkinkan gagalnya suatu jaringan karena untuk dapat terkoneksi kita membutuhkan waktu yang lumayan lama meskipun tidak sampai berjam-jam.

setelah itu kita langsung mempraktikkan VTP server, transparent, dan client. VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) adalah Cisco protokol khusus yang menyebar definisi Virtual Local Area Network ( VLAN ) pada jaringan area lokal secara keseluruhan.  Untuk melakukan ini, VTP membawa informasi VLAN untuk semua switch dalam domain VTP. Iklan VTP dapat dikirim melalui ISL , 802.1Q , IEEE 802,10 dan batang LANE. VTP tersedia di sebagian besar Cisco Catalyst produk Family. Menggunakan VTP, setiap Beralih Catalyst Keluarga mengiklankan berikut pada port batangnya: dibawah adalah contoh topologi yang digunakan.
